Trevornick – Newquay, Cornwall

Located on the Somerset border, Cloud Farm is a fantastic get away for all adventurous families. Hosting some spectacular views, the site has plenty of room for tents to be pitched all year round. With shallow streams and rivers to explore and wonderful wildlife on display, it’s the perfect outdoor summer holiday. Wake up with ponies, red deer, herons and buzzards and immerse yourself deep into the super Southern scenery. It’s also worth mentioning that your younger scamps (under 3s) can camp for free!
Fforest Fields – Wales
Fforest Fields is a fantastic retreat for families to visit, its so remote that it doesn’t centre on its post code! But don’t worry you can still find it and is easily accessible from any area of England. Find your route here! The camping park is four miles from the historic market town of Builth Wells, renowned for all things outdoors! There are thousands of acres to cover. With moorland rich in wildlife, fishing lake, boating and swimming lakes, it sounds pretty perfect right?
Thistledown Farm – Stroud, Gloucestershire
Set up camp at Thistledown Farm, with three idyllic locations to choose from – you will be spoilt for choice on where to lay your head. But for a truly wild experience, we recommend the Elderflower Orchard which is located towards the top of the farm. You can share tales around your very own campfire and wake up in the wilderness for an awesome long weekend treat. Even better, it will cost you just £5 per night. Glenmore Campsite – Aviemore, Scotland
Described as “a magnet for outdoor and nature enthusiasts”, Glenmore Campsite is the perfect opportunity to introduce your youngsters to wildlife, and whilst on holiday – what could be better? Explore the 280km of footpaths and trails across its diverse lands; keep your eyes peeled for Deer, otters, ospreys and even golden eagles! With a nearby beach you can relax in the sun after any adventure.
