Hubby finished work on Wednesday for the whole holidays, and so we have decided to pack as much family time in as we can before Christmas next week – including visiting a local farm park and seeing Father Christmas! The weather was a little grey on the morning, but the twins had their new Muddy Puddles jackets to wear. And so a little rain wasn’t going to stop us having lots and lots of fun!
We visited Little Owl Farm Park in Worcestershire, and had pre-booked in to see Father Christmas.
When we arrived we picked up some animal feed. The twins LOVED feeding all the various farm animals and throwing seeds. Lottie got rather attached to a cute little goat – which kept licking her! And Harry liked stroking the piglets.
And they loved petting the rabbits, chicks and piglets. Too cute. Lottie asked if she could have a baby rabbit for Christmas! And I really wanted to take one of the super cute piglets home (Hubby sadly said no). Harry & Lottie also had a steer of a tractor and we fed some of the birds outside.
The twins were recently sent Muddy Puddles Snow Flurry Jackets (which RRP at £59 each). They loved wearing them to the farm park. And they both look so comfortable and warm in them. The Snow Flurry jacket is the perfect coat for the ski slopes, as well as for outdoors walks and trips to farm parks! The jackets are fully waterproof with a zip to fasten and come complete with removable hoods.
Harry has the multi-geo pattern, which is so funky, colourful and stylish!
And Lottie the purple one (because this is her current favourite colour)!
The jackets are such good quality and very practical. Plus, neither twin complained of being cold at all throughout the whole trip. We selected age 3-4, which fits them both well with plenty of room to grow…(I like it when a jacket has plenty of room for jumpers and layers!).
We would definitely give these jackets 5/5 for price, comfort, style and quality!
After a little soft play indoors, we then queued for 10 minutes…and then went in for our slot to see Father Christmas! They twins were so sweet – they chatted to him and sat next to him, and told him that they both wanted bikes for Christmas. It was definitely not a repeat of last year when Harry wouldn’t open his eyes and Lottie wouldn’t talk! You could write him a letter and then decide which box to post it in – Nice, Not Sure, or Naughty! The twins selected ‘Nice’ which we agreed with…(kind of!).
They could select a gift each afterwards…Harry went for a dinosaur book and Lottie a pink pen-set. Then we had lunch and picked up some gifts from the shop before we headed home and everyone (including Daddy) fell asleep in the car!
I can honestly say, that this year, is already proving to be the best Christmas so far. The twins really understand what is going on, and are SO excited. It is going to be such an amazing week next week, and I cannot wait to see their little faces!
Happy Christmas everyone!
